Founder's Message

When I first started this journey, I never imagined it would grow into what Konnecting the Dots CIC is today. It began with a single conversation. A chance encounter with a mother and her three children who had been living in a garage for two years, invisible to the systems that were supposed to help them.

That moment changed everything for me. I realised that homelessness is not just about the absence of a roof. It is about the absence of connection, to services, to people, to hope. And I knew that if I could help connect the dots between people and the support they needed, lives could genuinely change.

So I started making calls. I spoke to landlords, councils, charities, and community leaders. I sat with people in their darkest moments and refused to give up until we found a way forward. And slowly, what began as one person's determination became a movement.

Together with my co-director, we formally established Konnecting the Dots CIC. Not as a charity that hands things out, but as an organisation that walks alongside people. We believe in dignity. We believe in practical action. And we believe that no one should be left without a path to stability.

To every person we have supported, every volunteer who has given their time, every partner who has opened their doors: thank you. You are the reason this work is possible.
